One of the biggest water wasters in the average yard is the grass lawn. If you live in a drought prone area consider eliminating or reducing the size of your lawn. Grassy areas can be replaced with water conserving plants, gravel, or even artificial turf. Areas that are kept as grass lawns may be made more water efficient by simply letting the grass grow a bit longer. Grass cut short is very water intensive, while longer grass is generally much healthier. Grass in shadier areas will usually use less water than grass in full sun. If you decide to eliminate some of your lawn you may get the best savings by eliminating the sunniest sections.
If you are on a low budget, co nhan tao may be the outdoor option for you. Astroturf can come in all shapes, sizes, colors and prices. The more you pay, the more it will look and feel like grass. This is very versatile if you have a dog. The dirt will simply wash away in the rain, and it will not become damaged or bare. If this is an option when a friend or family with pet comes to visit, and you do not want a lawn to keep mowing, it is easily stored in between visits.
This type of man-made material now graces a variety of sports fields not only for football and baseball but even for lawn tennis, golf and field hockey. For many sports organizations, this option is very cost effective for them. Other popular applications are in playgrounds and parks for dogs.

Our only previous foray into backyards was courtesy of our Kingman Backyard Putting Greens. These days we’re taking on the entire yard. Only the highest quality synthetic turf is used for artificial turf lawns, and the results have to be seen to be believed. Imagine a yard that stays perfect year round regardless of weather, almost like one of our Laughlin Indoor Putting Greens. No mowing, no watering, no re-seeding or fertilizing, and no chemicals. In short no involvement on your part… except when you’re admiring your great looking lawn that is. What would you rather be doing on a scorching day in mid-July… mowing your lawn or virtually anything else? The answer is anything else, and with a synthetic lawn that’s exactly what you’ll be doing.
Children will enjoy the feel of real grass. There are no chemicals, such as fertilizers or weed killers, that could harm children or pets. Pet urine can fade and destroy real grass, but the artificial version is often waterproof, leaving no effect.
There are several different synthetic grass styles, meaning you’ll be able to dial in your lawn to your exact individual specifications. Imagine an immaculate lawn that is at its best in the cold of winter or during the heat of summer. Whatever the season, synthetic grass can make your lawn something to be enjoyed, not endured.
